Weekly Photo Challenge: “Solitary”
I love this in full colour but I did have to make a traditional monochrome version that will wind up in the Lower Hamilton phase of the Hammer Home Street Photography Project, which is currently going through a final stage in a metamorphosis.
One of the aspects of city life that never ceases to amaze me is that regardless of how big and crowded an urban space can get it is still entirely possible for each person to; rightly or wrongly, find themselves completely alone.

In solitude? Just take a KITKAT BREAK. Lovely post. And picture has the kitkat banner as background ! Suits well to the theme !
When you get some time please go through my this post—

Thanks Rahul.
I read your story but there wasn’t a form field that allowed me to comment there, so I’m commenting here:
It’s a nice story. Is it strictly romantic fiction or have you met your future wife to base your story on. Is she your muse?
I love the repetition of all the reds. The woman in the background (probably looking at the photographer) but seemingly noticing the solitary man on high…lovely retro Kit Kat font…very nicely done.
I love that sign, and I think she was taken by the way I crouched behind the subject with my camera to my face.
Street can provide a lot of opportunities to catch a “solitary”. The red jacket is a nice touch, and matches some other reds in the background….
Definitely the reds.
nice and moody
Ahihihi … lots of red on this pic, so fittingly with your blog theme.
You have caught such a colourful moment of solitude within the crowd!
